Celebrate CNY at Home: A Healthier, Budget-Friendly Yu Sheng to Try

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and for many families, Yu Sheng is a must-have for reunion meals and gatherings. But store-bought platters can sometimes be costly and packed with added sugar, artificial colourings or deep-fried toppings. If you’re looking for a fun and healthier way to celebrate, making your own Yu Sheng at home is a wonderful option!

This homemade version keeps the bright colours and festive spirit, but uses fresh vegetables, fibre-rich fruit and lighter toppings. Give it a try!
